Health & Social Care

Swindon Primary Mental Health Children's Service

The Bigger Picture

Children and young people receive and benefit from services that are co-ordinated and integrated to maximise their social, educational, health and emotional potential into adulthood.

Through our commitment to partnership working, early intervention and multi-agency working/training, children and young people will be supported to:

  • Be healthy
  • Stay safe
  • Enjoy and achieve
  • Make a positive contribution
  • Achieve economic wellbeing

We aim to achieve these objectives through our contributions to the Swindon inter-agency CAMHS Strategy, which actively involves parents, carers, children, young people and all service providers in planning and improving CAMHS services. This strategy endorses the belief that the mental health and emotional well being of children and young people is the concern of all childcare agencies within Swindon.

Latest News

Now that we have been fully opperational since April 2006, we are undergoing a review of our service.  This will involve gathering opinion from both service users and professionals about what is working well and how things can be improved. For more information, please contact Nita Giles, Service Development Manager on Tel: 01793 466891.
