Vulnerable Children In Swindon Project

The Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership has published the vulnerable children in Swindon project. This has been Project Pictureproduced by the Swindon Primary Care Trust,  Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust, Swindon  Borough Council  (Community & Education, Social Services and Planning), Neighbourhood Renewal, Sure Start, The Youth Offending Team and Connexions

The mapping project builds on the pilot, published in 2002, which identifies neighbourhoods in Swindon with high numbers of vulnerable children. This will allow local services to target those children and families most vulnerable and work out whether resources are being provided in the right areas.

Copies of this  project are available for £25 a folder, or in electronic format on a free CD. A summary publication is also now available, this can be downloaded. Please Note this will take about 15 mins to download with a dial-up connection.
