Adult Social Care works in partnership with Swindon Carers Centre and the Swindon Carers network to plan and develop local services.

Swindon Carers Centre is an independent organisation within the Princess Royal Trust for Carers. Neither you nor the person you care for needs to be receiving statutory services in order for you to access the Carers Centre services. You can register with the centre when you wish.

Services

A range of services is provided through Swindon Carers Centre - some of which are highlighted below:

• Information
  A wide range of information in order to help with issues arising from your caring situation. This includes a Carers pack and directory about short breaks.
  
• Support
  Support Workers offering one to one support, advocacy and specialist information to carers.
  
• Activities
  A wide variety of trips, activities, relaxation sessions and courses. These are to either help you in your caring role or to give you some time for yourself.
