Health and Safety at Work
Drivers underestimate the number of people who die on our roads and say they feel safer behind the wheel than with any other mode of transport. In reality the opposite is true; 3,500 people die on Britain's roads every year making it the riskiest form of transport.
Employers are responsible for ensuring high standards of health, safety and welfare for all employees who use vehicles as part of their work. Occupational road risk is the responsibility of both employers and their staff.
