- To manage and co-ordinate works within the highway so as to cause minimum disruption to highway users and residents.
- Provide an effective highway based information service to the public and business communities.
- To manage and maintain the borough's Rights of Ways network in accordance with current legislation.
- Provide a street naming and property numbering service and install/maintain street nameplates.
- To provide and maintain bus shelters and street seats that are clean and fit for purpose.
