Walk at Work Week with Cancer Research UK
23 February - 1 March
Cancer Research UK are inviting companies and groups to use this week to set their own walking challenge in Lydiard Park to their own schedule - be it one mile a day or the equivalent of a marathon over the week. Why not take advantage of your lunch breaks? Exercise and maintaining a healthy weight is an important way to reduce your risk of cancer of the womb, kidney, colon, oesophagus and breast cancer in post-menopausal women. Walking is a simple, rewarding and fun way to increase the amount of exercise youre doing. Registration costs £6 and any further sponsorship raised would be greatly appreciated. Sunday 12 April 12 noon to 3.30pm
Hunt down the clues hidden in the park and pick up a chocolate treat in this annual family event. £1 per child

We receive numerous requests for events of every kind; all are carefully considered, but we can only host a limited number of events each year. The selection of events is at the discretion of the Lydiard Park Management board.
