The Swim Swindon Academy provides pathways for progression in carefully programmed stages from a comprehensive range of learn to swim sessions to club level.
Courses are available for children aged 6 months to adults.
National Plan for Teaching Swimming We have adopted this comprehensive, progressive scheme, developed by the Amateur Swimming Association, which is designed to be incorporated into all learn to swim schemes throughout the UK. The plan concentrates largely on developing water confidence and producing technically accurate swimmers with a solid foundation to move on to participation across the range of swimming disciplines. All lessons include a registration period. |
All of our swimming instructors are qualified to Amateur Swimming Association standard and hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or rescue test.
