BBC RaW

BBC RaW Logo

Did you know that one of David Spinx’s favourite books is ‘Mother Tongue’ by Bill Bryson?

David Spinx, who plays Keith Miller in Eastenders, is just one of the many celebrities who are taking part in the RaW campaign.

The BBC have launched RaW, in partnership with libraries, to help people to ‘read more and write better’.  The campaign is aimed at people aged between 25 – 54 years who wish to improve their skills or build their confidence in reading or writing.

We are here to help:

  • RaW Books - Titles for people who are new to reading, and 'Quick Reads'.
  • RaW Online - Test your skills.  Free access from any of Swindon Libraries
  • RaW Coaching - Freephone coaching on 08000 150950
