Tag Rugby Corporate League Rules

Please follow these simple rules to ensure fair play, fun and good games!

  • Each team should be seven-a-side on the pitch
  • Games will be 30 minutes long; in the case of an advantage to one side, the games will be broken in to halves
  • If you fail to raise seven players, the opposition will accommodate down to five players
  • If you fail to raise at least five players or fail to turn up for a game it will be recorded as a 10-0 loss
  • Three consecutive weeks with less than seven players will result in a two-point deduction
  • One bonus point for every five tries scored
  • Win = 3 points
    Draw = 1 point
    Defeat = 0 points

All players must complete the Active Swindon Registration Form (please see Contact Us) Results must be e-mailed to Darren Astley, Darren.astley@nationwide.co.uk by the end of Monday

  • League tables, fixtures and scores can be found on this web page (www.swindon.gov.uk/activeswindontagrugby), so please check back regularly
  • If you drop out of the league you will hand the kit back in the same state as you received it
  • There will be no referees present at the games, teams will adopt a fair play rule and agree between them during the game should an incident occur
  • You accept responsibility for injuries to your team-mates, loss or damage of your belongings
  • The company will make a donation to the league of £100. This covers pitch hire and trophies.
