Ice Skating - Recreation Sessions

Session Descriptions

Parent and Toddler

Specific sessions to help toddlers experience the thrill of ice skating, with songs, themes and fun interactive equipment. Our expert coach will be on the ice with you and your youngsters giving you helpful hints and tips.

For children aged from 18 months to 5 years (accompanied by parents carers).

Disabled Skate

This session is devoted to disabled users, wheelchairs can be brought onto the ice if required. A ramp is provided for easy access to the ice pad and a member of staff will be on hand to help. One carer can skate free with one paying disabled user.

Edge and Balance

This session is designed to improve skater’s skills with edge technique and balance work, also an excellent opportunity to improve your fitness, stamina, flexibility and posture with one of our qualified instructors. This is for beginners that are competent in forward and backward skating with the ability to glide on one foot. All skaters must have their own figure or hockey skates.
