Breastmates

Breastmates is a network of free breastfeeding support groups held across Swindon. Breastmates logo

They are informal drop-in groups, run by mums who are not only trained in breastfeeding support, but who have breastfed and in most cases are still breastfeeding.

You don't have to be having any breastfeeding problems to attend. Groups offer an opportunity to chat to other breastfeeding mums whether you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Partners, children, family and friends are welcome too, as they all play an important role in supporting breastfeeding mums.

Swindon Breastmates have a Facebook page which is a closed group for local breastfeeding mums. To join please send a request to the address below. (This is an informal Facebook page managed by Breastmates peer support volunteers and is not affiliated with Swindon Borough Council): www.facebook.com/groups/SwindonBreastmates
