The Resettlement Team offer support and advice in relation to a wide range of issues.
One of the essential elements of the job is to assist clients in submitting Housing Benefit applications (if applicable) in order for them to promptly receive the Housing and Council tax benefit to which they are entitled. Getting such forms submitted correctly, as soon as clients move into their property is key to starting their tenancy on the right foot by avoiding the build up of rent arrears
All the Resettlement Team members are trained verification officers which means that they are able to sign copies of original documents. This reduces the need for clients to make appointments and queue at the desk and greatly speeds up the assessment process.
