SITRA, the National Housing Federation and HouseMark have developed a benchmarking tool for providers. Following a pilot to test the model during the summer, the second phase of the project is now ready and is free to providers participating this year.  

The tool aims to encourage providers to develop an understanding of the scope, if any, for efficiency savings or gains, so that they can examine practice and negotiate funding levels with more confidence. It looks at quality and user satisfaction issues as well as purely financial questions.
