Resource Centre Support Services

The Resource Centre will provide a range of high-quality support services, including:

Mentoring and Exchanges

There is a great deal of good practice going around the wardens schemes both nationally and regionally, and at the Centre we hope to encourage the sharing of good practice. Mentoring can be provided for warden managers including visits to the Centre and trips out to individual schemes.

Study Visits

The Centre will also be facilitating study visits; these visits are to help wardens and warden schemes to replicate best practice and establish strong links between colleagues throughout the country.

Summary of Benefits

The following benefits derived from study visits:

  • Increasing motivation and enthusiasm
  • Establishing links/friendships and fostering a sense ofbelonging to a country-wide family
  • Gaining knowledge and insight into the operation of other schemes
  • Engendering a feeling of being valued for the work that they do
  • Replicating good practice ideas and projects in other scheme
  • Sharing promotional and marketing ideas
