Neighbourhood Wardens

In the heart of your Neighbourhood!

Swindon's Neighbourhood Wardens are employed to work for and with tenants, leaseholders and other residents on our housing estates. Their main role is to engage with local communities and promote respect for people, property and the environment, and to encourage resident involvement in Housing.

Our aims are to:

  • Be a busy and highly visible presence on the estates

  • Participate in community projects

  • Remove litter, fly tipping and graffiti.

  • Inspect communal areas of block of flats monthly.

  • Carry out regular street inspections

  • Be the link for tenants to access other services

  • Communicate with all residents and help resolve local disputes

If you would like more information, please download our Neighbourhood Warden leaflet, or our New Newsletter or you can contact the Neighbourhood Wardens on 01793 464081 or email neighbourhoodwardens@swindon.gov.uk

If you have any questions or comments about the Neighbourhood Wardens you can also contact Pete Holohan, Neighbourhood Warden Manager on 01793 464425 or email: pholohan@swindon.gov.uk
