Housing

Specific Performance Measures and Standards

Listed below are the standards that have been agreed. The performance of the team in meeting these standards is continually monitored and reported on to Council members.

General

We will initiate a response to all housing complaints and other enquiries within two working days.

Grants

We will respond to all grants enquiries within 14 working days.

Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs)

We will risk assess all HMOs as soon as is practicable following their initial identification. Subsequent inspections will be carried out in accordance with a programmed based on the assessed risk. We will inspect all identified HMOs at least once every five years.

Caravan Sites

We will inspect all licensed caravan sites at least annually.

Homeless Properties

We will inspect all properties recommended by the Council to accommodate homeless persons within 20 days.
