If an individual is identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour, a letter will be sent to the person/parents or guardians asking them to attend a meeting with the police and council to discuss that behaviour.
At this meeting the individual will be given the opportunity to stop their unacceptable behaviour by signing up to a contract. The contact will identify the specific behaviour and each agency will sign the document. The police, council and other agencies, as appropriate, will monitor the individual’s behaviour, including home visits if necessary. If after six months there has been no breach of the contract, it will cease.
