Monitoring Website Availability
Swindon Borough Council uses a website monitoring service provided by Axzona to ensure that the Council's website is available for those that wish to use it.
Monitoring website availability is a continual process that checks three specific areas of the website and it's operation. These are the continued availability of:
Website content pages.Electronic forms.Transactional functionality.
All results are automatically updated on a weekly basis.
Our target for "uptime availability" is currently 96%. This will, however, be reviewed and adjusted upwards periodically, in light of actual experience.
