Why Get Involved?

Voting matters – it can make a difference in our neighbourhoods and communities as well as our day-to-day lives. Swindon Borough Council spends nearly two hundred million pounds per year to make sure Swindon is a modern and exciting place to live. If you live in Swindon and you vote, you are using your power to influence life in Swindon. If you don’t vote, you’re giving up control to those who do. This section of the website provides you with information on elections and registration in Swindon.

What’s New?

To help make it easier for citizens to find out information about registering to vote and elections and to exchange ideas with others, Swindon has launched a special Swindon election group on Facebook. To join the Swindon Facebook group go to www.facebook.com and enter Local Election Swindon in the search engine.
