Shopping

Shopping graphic

From the Town Centre to the Swindon Designer Outlet; to small shops selling antiques, books, and furnishings in Old Town. Swindon's got shopping covered!

Shopping Heaven

Outlet CentreVisit one of Europe's largest covered designer outlet centres. Choose from over 100 designer label shops, and enjoy discounts of up to 50%. The fabulous selection of stores include the Polo Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Olsen, Thomas Pink and Ted Baker. There is also a great selection of top high street brands that include Gap, Next, Marks & Spencer and many more. The dedicated 'At Home' section offers everything from china and crystal to home furnishings and kitchenware shops. But what makes the Outlet Centre so unique is its setting in the splendidly restored Victorian buildings of the Great Western Railway works, where original memorabilia has been restored. A rare collection of overhead cranes adorn the malls while the large central Food Court is dominated by a Great Western locomotive - currently Hinton Manor.

A Shopaholic's Feast

View of Town CentreThe town centre offers a fabulous mixture of shops. Many of these are located within the Brunel Shopping Centre. Here you will find big brand names such as Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, Virgin Megastore, as well as the more specialist stores that include Just Add Water, John Anthony and Forum. Here you really can shop till you drop. The Parade, with its distinctive and decorative canopies, homes even more shops, as does Regent Street and The Lock. Take a relaxing break from shopping in one of the café bars, pubs or restaurants.

Traditional Shopping

Old Town offers a more traditional shopping environment, where you will find several long-established family businesses. Offerings include antiques, jewellery, unusual home furnishings, books and art.
