About the SwindonCard
The SwindonCard is your gateway to discounted leisure facilities and council services.
The Council recognised the need to target subsidies to those on low incomes and the scheme is aimed to increase social inclusion whilst continuing to provide ‘best value’ to residents and regular users.
It offers discounted use of council facilities and activities, and provides priority booking for the use of leisure facilities. The SwindonCard is valid for one year from the date of purchase. The cost of the card varies: Swindon Borough Council residents will pay less than non-residents and those claiming benefit may be entitled to a Concession 1 or Concession 2 SwindonCard.
With over 35,000 cards currently in circulation, the SwindonCard has been more successful than we could have ever hoped for.
Selected businesses have also come on board to offer discounts and special deals to SwindonCard holders, which has been met with enthusiasm. We currently have over sixteen external companies who recognise the value of the SwindonCard.
