What is SSAFA? What Do They Do?
The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), Forces Help Swindon and Wiltshre, provides support in this area for men and women who serve, or who have served, in the armed forces, together with their families and dependants. Sadly, many in the Swindon area are now getting old or are in need of specialist support, but often don't know to whom they can turn for help. By entering a team and raising our profile locally, you'll be helping to ensure that those who need our help will know where they can get it and also to help recruit more volunteer Case Workers and Friends to carry on our vital work.
