The Legendary 10CC

Saturday 16 July 2011

Old Town Bowl

The Legendry 10CC

5.00pm

One of the most successful groups in the 70’s are performing at the Bowl, Town Gardens, Swindon on Saturday 16th July as part of their nationwide tour. It is the legendary 10cc and they have a new album release ‘The Greatest Hits and More’.

10cc have had hit after hit with over 10 top ten hits including 3 number 1 hits. This one night event is certainly not to be missed and will be full of outstanding live music from the 10cc and also some great support acts.

The band was one of the most popular and well known bands in the 1970’s. Their biggest ever hit was ‘I’m Not In Love’ which reached number 1 in the UK. 10cc ruled the pop world at a time in the seventies when the charts were dominated by some of the most creative and colourful pop artistes in pop history.

The band initially consisted of four musicians Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Crème. The band had already written and recorded together for three years before assuming the ‘10cc’ name in 1972. Before forming the band all four members were well known musicians.

10cc now consists of 5 members with one of them being an original member. They are Graham Gouldman, Rick Fenn, Paul Burgess, Mick Wilson and Mike Stevens. Not all of them may be originals but they certainly are fantastic performers and create the legendry music from 10cc.

The evening will include such hits by 10cc: Rubber Bullets, I'm Not In Love, Dreadlock Holiday, Donna, Art For Art's Sake, Good Morning Judge, The Things We Do For Love, I'm Mandy Fly Me, Life Is A Minestrone, The Dean And I & The Wall Street Shuffle.

10cc have already sold out in some of their tour venues so don’t miss out on this fantastic concert.

Tickets Prices: £23 plus £2.50 Booking fee
