Household Waste Recycling Centre

The camera below shows traffic entering and leaving the Household Waste Recycling Centre via Darby Close. If the queue into the depot reaches the end of Darby Close, the approximate waiting time is 2 hours.

Local Recycling Points

At this time of year the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) is traditionally very busy with quite long waiting times (check out the queues at the HWRC on the webcams above). For those wishing to dispose of recyclable materials, the use of our Local Recycling Points may be a quicker and more convenient alternative. Follow the link for details of their locations and the materials that may be disposed of.

The Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) is available to residents of Swindon to dispose of household recycling and household waste at:

Waterside Park
Darby Close
Cheney Manor Industrial Estate
Swindon
SN2 2PN
