Bulky Waste Collection (Including Asbestos)

On this page: You can find out how to make an appointment to collect bulky or hazardous waste from outside your property.

Description of Service

We offer a bulky waste collection service from outside of your home. The service is for people who are unable to transport bulky items such as furniture, fridges and freezers to the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC). It also offers a collection service for asbestos and hazardous waste. The bulky waste items must be placed for collection at the nearest point on your property to the Highway on the day of your appointment.

We will collect any item that is too large to fit in a wheelie bin, yet can be lifted by two people. Anything larger will require a specific assessment by the service provider.

The collection service is chargeable as follows.

Card Type Price
Swindon Card Concession 2 £8.25
