Bring Sites

Description of Service

We provide local bring site facilities across Swindon which are available to the residents of Swindon to dispose of recyclable materials including:

  • Glass
  • Cans
  • Paper
  • Textiles
  • Books
  • Foils
  • Plastic bottles.

Not all bring sites cater for all of the above. To see where the bring site locations are and what materials can be recycled please see www.recyclemore.co.uk

Service Levels

We aim to keep the bring sites tidy and to empty them as and when required.

The control of fly tipping and littering at these sites varies between sites. You can visit the fly tipping and street cleaning pages to report such problems.

Request a Service or Report a Problem

You can do this in a number of ways:

  • Use our online problem reporting facility to let us know if the bring site facilities are overflowing. To use this, please follow the link to Problem Reporting – Bring Sites.

  • By telephone to the StreetSmart Team at the Swindon Direct Contact Centre on 01793 445501. For details of the Contact Centre opening hours, please visit the Swindon Direct web page.

  • In person, by visiting the Swindon Direct One-stop-shop. For details of the address and opening hours, please visit the Swindon Direct web page.
