Dog Training Clubs In and Around Swindon

General Advice

The following are details of people that run dog training clubs or classes in or around the Swindon area.

Please note that these training clubs have not been assessed or approved by Swindon Borough Council. You should therefore make your own assessment, prior to making a decision on whether to use them.

We advise you to assess class suitability before booking any training class by visiting without your dog in the first instance:

  • Ask the trainer for their credentials / experience / whether they are members of any recognised bodies (e.g.. APDT association of pet dog trainers)
  • Look to see if the owners and dogs are enjoying the class.
  • Decide if you can understand the trainer and judge whether his/her reasoning make sense to you.
  • Decide if you are comfortable with the way the dogs are being handled.
  • Chat to other owners to find out how well their dogs have progressed and how long it has taken.
  • Assess the room ... Is the floor slippery? Are there a lot of dogs in a small space etc? Only then, decide on suitability.

The trainers are:
