Bedbugs
Treatment
A single treatment completed in one visit is normally sufficient to eradicate bedbugs. This is achieved by spraying a water based insecticide onto affected areas, including carpets, beds, and furniture. Some preliminary measures need to be carried out by the householder prior to us carrying out this treatment. Should the treatment prove to have been ineffective after two weeks then a further visit and application of insecticide can be made without further charge
The treatment involves the property being sprayed or dusted with an insecticide.
If we are to carry out a treatment please clear the floor as much as possible, vacuum up before we visit, empty the vacuum cleaner outside and place the contents in a bin-bag, seal and put outside (preferably in a bin). Bed linen will need to be washed in hot water, beds stripped and any accumulated rubbish removed. You must not vacuum for 2 weeks afterwards. Occupants can remain in the house but cannot touch treated areas until dry, so pets and children must be kept out of contact with wet treated areas.
Charges
Treatments for domestic infestations are charged at £30.00. This fee covers the first three visits if required, but a further charge may be levied if more than 3 visits are required to eradicate the infestation.
If the treatment charge is paid in advance by credit or debit card, a £2 discount is applied and the treatment therefore costs £28.00.
Concessionary Swindon Card Holders, with suffix Y or Z will be treated free of charge.
Treatments in commercial premises will be charged at £45.10(+vat) for the first hour, and £22.55(+vat) for every additional half hour.
