Open Space Audit and Assessment

The Final Open Space Audit and Assessment has been prepared to provide up to date information on recreational open space within Swindon. This information can then be used to support the policies in the Local Plan and to help inform the preparation of a Parks and Open Space strategy for the Borough. The Audit and Assessment report is divided into two sections. The main report sets out the methodology used, results of consultation, open space standards and a summary of the results. Annex 1 provides open space profiles for each of the Borough's wards and is accompanied by maps.

The documents can be downloaded as pdf files :

The Open Space maps accompany Annex 1 of the Final Open Space Audit and Assessment which provides profiles of open spaces with each of the Borough's wards. Each site has a unique reference which corresponds with the sites listed in the Ward Profiles. The maps are downloadable as a series of pdf files:

Please refer to the "Obtaining Printed Copies" section, which details how to obtain further copies of documents.
