Houses in Multiple Occupation

Swindon Houses in Multiple Occupancy Strategy

Swindon Borough Council is preparing a Strategy to improve the stock of Houses in Multiple Occupancy in the Borough and to control their future growth.

The Strategy aims to balance the need to foster housing choice with the need to address the amenity and safety concerns that badly managed Houses in Multiple Occupancy can create.

A draft of the Houses in Multiple Occupancy Strategy has been published for public consultation, this can be viewed by clicking on the following link:

The consultation period runs to 16 November 2007, if you wish to make comments then this is your chance to 'have your say'. The Council values your views and asks you to make any comments via an on-line comments form or alternatively using a downloadable comments form.
