The Life of a Tree.

Depending on the age of the group this session will begin by exploring the make-up an life of a tree through various games and hands on activities. We will also take a brief look into how trees are important to man as a natural resource.
What Makes Trees Different?
This part of the session involves a number of activities that will give the group a chance to identify different trees and shrubs by looking at their bark and leaves.
Hug a Tree
There is more to a tree than being a brown stick with leaves on! This game explores the textures and smells of different trees which reveal the individuality and great variety of the trees around us.
Stand Alone or Extension Activity.
Create and Discover
A fantastic opportunity for the group to have a hands-on experience creating shelters within the woodland. They will also have a go at creating an object from willow to take home.
