Swindon College - Higher Education Courses



Swindon College offers university-level courses across a number of qualifications to well over 500 full and part time students. The college works in partnership with several key universities and awarding bodies in delivering its Higher Education programmes. These include the University of Bath. Oxford Brookes University and Edexcel.

Higher Education courses offered include:

  • HNCs and HNDs are two year, degree-equivalent qualifications in subjects such as Art and Design, Business, Computing, Construction and Engineering.
  • Foundation Degrees in subjects such as Classroom Support, Early Years, Sports Therapy, Youth Work and Engineering Systems. These courses are strongly work-based and are available over two years full time or three years part time. Students who gain a Foundation Degree can progress directly onto an honours programme.
  • BA (Hons), MA and PgDip courses, which are validated by the University of Bath.
