Education & Learning

Swindon College - Further Education

The College’s full time Further Education prospectus is hugely diverse and broad-reaching, in terms of available subjects. It is also very dynamic as the College continually develops new and groundbreaking courses in direct response to feedback and market research.

The industry-standard facilities in a number of subject areas including Engineering, Plumbing, Hospitality and Catering, Hairdressing, Beauty and Art and Design makes the College, the first choice college for those considering vocational (work-based) study courses such as apprenticeships.

The full choice of courses and qualifications on offer are:

  • BTEC (Introductory to Diplomas)
  • Pre-Entry/Entry (for those with few or no other qualifications)
  • NVQs (Levels 1-5)
  • A Levels
  • Apprenticeships (Foundation – Level 3)
  • Access to HE (Levels 4 & 5)
  • Key Skills (Levels 1-5).

There is a large team dedicated to supporting all Further Education students and helping them to progress from a school to a college environment. A range of support and careers advice is readily available ... see Contact Details.
