The new £12m campus at North Star provides excellent facilities in all areas of the apprenticeship. Well-equipped workshops, salons, kitchens, IT suites, library & classrooms enable apprentices to develop their practical skills using good quality tools, machinery, equipment and materials.

Apprenticeships offer a structured framework for students to gain relevant practical skills, job knowledge and qualifications. Apprentices:

  • Earn a salary while training
  • Gain experience in a real work environment, developing skills by actually doing the job
  • Benefit from regular support, guidance and motivation to complete training.

Apprentices also benefit from the many services available through the Student Union, for example, discounts from many local stores and various social and leisure activities.
