Tree Courts Regeneration

Current News October 2009

Work has taken place in Spruce and Whitebeam Courts throughout 2008 and 2009, to complete the closing up of open space and other environmental improvements. The work is anticipated to continue over the next few months with a view to all works being completed in the summer. The new games area to the rear of Lilac Court was officially opened on 8th July 2009 by the Mayor, Councillor David Wren, who had great fun with a number of youngsters playing basketball and football. The games area has been a huge success with lots of young people using this facility.

The final phase of the works will be the installation of a new street lighting scheme for the outer court areas, which will be completed in 2010.

A planned drawing of the Tree Courts area under the Regeneration programme; highlighting new housing and properties that have been sold to date and others that are part of the Right to Buy initiative can be viewed following the links below.
