Bowl Benefit: Beatbullyz, Aeshna, The Edge

Swindon Borough Council (SBC) pull together to provide an extravaganza to raise funds for the Bowl on this the opening night of the 2008 concert series. SBC employees - and even the Chief Executive himself, playing in Aeshna - along with Pride Idol winner Stevie, will provide a rocking line up. All this will be topped to perfection by Swindon’s brilliant Beatbullyz, soon to be seen on Hollyoaks.

Invincible

A host of local bands and DJs are ready for the battle of the year. Swindon's heavyweight dance club nights Electrofonik and Kandifunk go head to head in a live funky, electro, house, mash up. All supported by Frequency and VM promotions.
Chumbawamba
Saturday 6 September. Doors 6pm, Finish 10.30pm
Anyone who knew Chumbawamba before that "I get knocked down" song took over the world will be only too aware of the band's folk heart. Anarchists, entertainers, antiwar crusaders and cherished punk activists, this is a fantastic opportunity to catch Chumbawamba acoustic.
