Swindon Music Forum Logo

The Swindon Music Forum has been set up to support all music in Swindon and to help and provide opportunities to explore how the Swindon Music Scene can be better supported and developed.

Role of the group

  • The group should work for all music in town…whether a choral society/jazz or rock band.
  • Music forum is for those who are making music or want to make music – supporting the creative sector economy
  • It need to be all encompassing for all people engaged in music
  • Need to be communicating to as wide an audience as we can
  • There should be an open door policy
  • To assist any music endeavour based in Swindon to become more commercially aware
  • It is about development and the commercial awareness
  • It is about development of all music.

Priorities and Values

  • Passionate about music
  • Based in Swindon ands surrounding areas
  • Interests in development or assisting others
  • Open minded to all music forms
  • Got to be working for the agenda of Swindon
  • Improving access to music
  • Pooling contacts and knowledge
