Logo Competition

Introducing the Head

Artsminds HeadAt the gathering on the 20 September members were given labels and pins to place themselves on a giant mind image. The mind map was divided into art form sections and has created pictorial evidence of where our Artsminds in Swindon are. This picture can now be used not only to enable resources to be focused accordingly, but to encourage those with similar profiles to collaborate.

To add yourself to the Artsminds Mind Map download the application form.

If you would like to see a larger image of the Mind Map please follow the link to Head Image

Design the Logo

Artsminds launched a competition for members to submit their representation of the mind map (above), with the winning entry to be used as the new Artsminds logo.

There were five entries in total, from John Bailey, Gordon Dickinson and three from Tim Carroll.

Winning Entry

Congratulations to John Bailey with his head and thought bubble work, titled ‘therefore I am’, who won £500.

Artsminds Logo

John Bailey's winning entry has been developed into the new Artsminds logo by Mark Pepperall from Pepper Design (www.hotpepperdesign.co.uk). You will see the new logo on each page of this web area as well as on all Artsminds materials produced or sent out.
