Sing Up Swindon

Sing Up Swindon Logo

Sing Up Swindon is about getting Swindon singing from now until 2012. As the 2012 Olympics loom there are plans for regional cultural activities to look at putting the arts at the heart of this great period for the UK.

Sing Up Swindon is to look at what events and projects are already planned, what ideas people have to get Swindon singing and to get the involvement of the local Swindon singers, in what ever form that is.

Sing Up Swindon is for all musicians and bands, promoters, media, publicity, venues, brass bands, orchestras, studios, music organisations, service providers, recording facilities, FE colleges, schools (music provision), festivals (organisers), clubs and associations, industry bodies, record labels, retail, choral societies and the general public (interested in singing).

The project kicked off on Wednesday 12th March with an event to bring together all interested parties that generated ideas, discussions, thoughts and looked at what is already is planned.

If you want more information about Sing Up Swindon call 07824 550392 or email sing@artsmad.org.uk or by post to Artsmad, Isambard Community School, Redhouse Way, Swindon, SN25 2ND.
