Mediation Plus is a community mediation service that provides help and advice to settle disputes between neighbours.

The service, which is a registered charity, aims to reduce or remove emotional conflict and to seek a mutually satisfied solution rather than contacting the police, legal advisers, housing department or association, or the local authority.

Typically the disputes are those that crop up between neighbours, such as:

• Vehicle parking
• Children and young people's behaviour
• Gardens and fences
