X-Factor star Cher Lloyd has announced she is coming to Swindon after the date was added to her UK tour schedule.
The singer, who reached number one with her very first single Swagger Jagger, will be performing at Swindon Borough Council’s Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday, 14 April in the penultimate gig of her 14-date tour.
Her debut album Sticks & Stones, for which she co-wrote a number of the songs, has just been released and sees her link up with some of the world’s top music producers including Max Martin (Britney, Katy Perry, Usher), Red One (Lady Gaga, J-Lo), Shellback (Pink, Maroon 5,), Savan Kotecha (Britney, Usher), Kevin Rudolph (Lil Wayne) and TMS (Dappy, Professor Green, Lily Allen).
Cher said: “Being in the studio writing and recording with amazing people such as The Runners, Red One and Max Martin has been an incredible experience.
“The album is like a jukebox! Lots of different sounds and no two songs sound the same. I’ve put a lot into the album and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the songs in full.”
Tickets for the standing concert are priced at £15.50, plus a £2 booking fee if purchased through the Oasis box office, and will go on sale on Friday, 9 December at 9am.
