British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will be performing at the Oasis Leisure Centre on Wednesday, 24 October 2012.
Rising star Ed leads the nominations at this year’s Brit Awards with 4: Best Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single (for The A Team) and British Album of the Year.
The 20 year-old broke through commercially in June 2011, when his debut single ‘The A Team’ debuted at number 3 in the charts. Other releases have included ‘You need me, I don’t need you’, and he is currently in the charts with ‘Lego House’. Ed’s latest song ‘Drunk’ will be released in February.
Ed, with this trademark flame red hair, has over 850,000 Facebook and 1.2m Twitter followers, is taking the British music industry by storm.
Ed released his first album ‘+’ in September 2011. The album, which is now triple platinum with over 900,000 sales debuted at number one, is currently at No.3 in the Album charts.
